Firefighters attended two separate road traffic collisions yesterday evening.
The first incident occurred at 5.58pm on Masonic Lane, Thirsk, where a car had collided with a lamp post.
Crews from Thirsk Fire Station made the scene safe by disconnecting the vehicle’s battery before leaving the incident in the care of police and ambulance crews.
Later the same evening, at 7.38pm, fire crews from Bedale and Ripon were called to a single-vehicle collision on Well Bank in Well.
All occupants were out of the vehicle when crews arrived and were being treated by ambulance staff.
Firefighters carried out scene safety checks before handing the incident over to the police and ambulance service.
No further details have been released.
