Firefighters were called to a forest fire yesterday.
The incident in the Osmotherley area was reported at about 5.50pm.
Northallerton and Danby fire crews attended.
They arrived to find around 30 square metres affected by fire.
Crews worked with the landowner and gamekeeper to surround fire.
Water was transported in off-road vehicles to points of fire in the forest.
No information on how the fire started has been released.
