Firefighters were called to an incident on Northallerton High Street after two people became trapped inside their vehicle due to an electrical fault.
The incident happened at 1.24pm today, when a crew from Northallerton was mobilised to reports of occupants unable to exit their car.
On arrival, firefighters found that a rear window was open, allowing one of the occupants to pass the vehicle’s key fob to the crew. Using the key fob, firefighters were able to unlock the vehicle and safely release both people from inside.
No injuries were reported.
Crews provided safety advice to the occupants.
