Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision involving two overturned vehicles on the A168 near Topcliffe on Sunday.
Fire crews from Boroughbridge, Ripon, Easingwold and Northallerton were requested to attend by the ambulance service at 12.42pm after reports that people may have been trapped inside the vehicles.
However, when firefighters arrived at the scene, all occupants had already managed to get out of the vehicles.
Those involved were reported to have suffered minor injuries.
The incident was then left in the hands of police and ambulance crews.
