The emergency services were called out today after a car overturned on the A1(M).
The incident happened at about 7.20am on the A1(M) northbound carriageway between J50 Baldersby and J51 Leeming
Police and a fire crew from Ripon responded to the report of a single-vehicle road traffic collision in which a car ended on its roof.
The driver was out of the vehicle on the arrival of crews and was transported to the hospital by road ambulance.
Crews used small tools to make the vehicle safe.
