A variety of cars and championships kick off the 2025 car race season at Croft Circuit next weekend when the budget-friendly 750 Motor Club returns to the North Yorkshire track with a packed programme.

The Midlands-based club’s two-day event will see seven different series featuring a wide range of racing machines from single-seaters to hatchbacks and GTs take to the tarmac across a bumper 16 races.

It also means competitors will be looking to get off to the best start possible with the meeting forming the opening rounds of the season for all the championships taking part.

The Formula Vee 1300cc Volkswagen engine-powered single-seater competitors will contest round one of their 2025 campaign on Saturday followed by a second race on Sunday.

For Renault fans, the Clio Sport Championship, featuring Mk2 Renault Sport Clio 182 ‘Cup’ and 197/200 chassis models, will get underway with a double header on Saturday as well as a race on Sunday.

The F1000 bike engine powered single-seater series will see also some competitive action when they race three times over the course of the weekend; twice on Saturday and once on Sunday, whilst the Ma7da Championship showcases its machines which are an offshoot of the popular Locost Championship for kit cars, offering some ultra-close race action too.

Meanwhile, the fast-paced superbike-engined cars of the Sports 1000 Championship will contest their first round on Saturday before returning to the tarmac twice on Sunday to see who can claim the early-season honours.

Saturday’s programme will host a mini-endurance race featuring production sports and saloon cars when the Anglesey International Roadsports Series go head-to-head around Croft over 45 minutes, including a compulsory pitstop and optional driver switch. There are four classes with Super GTs, GTs, Supersport and Sport cars.

On Sunday, it will be the turn of the Club Enduro series to provide most of the action with an epic 150-minute race. With a grid line-up consisting of production sports and saloon cars and mandatory pit stops, the action should be intense.

Practice starts at 9.30am on Saturday with the first race at 11.55am, and on Sunday racing begins at 12.35pm. Adult admission costs £17 on both days with accompanied children aged 15 and under admitted free on both days.

There is also free car parking and free paddock access.
