Police are appealing for information after three rings of “extreme personal value” were stolen from a home in Northallerton.
The jewellery was taken from an address sometime between 7.45am on Tuesday, September 22 and Thursday, September 24.
North Yorkshire Police said officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has seen the rings or has been offered them for sale in or around the Northallerton area.
The stolen jewellery consists of an engagement ring featuring a single solitaire diamond in a claw setting on an 18-carat gold band; an eternity ring featuring seven small inset diamonds in an 18-carat gold band; and a single solitaire platinum ring.
A police spokesperson said: “The rings are of extreme personal value to the victim.
“We are looking for any information in relation to the rings and if anyone has seen anyone trying to sell them in and around the Northallerton area.”
