Emergency services were called to rescue a cyclist who became trapped down an embankment after losing control of their bike.
The incident happened at Carlton in Cleveland at about 11.44am.
Fire crews from Northallerton and Stokesley attended after the cyclist left the road and ended up down the embankment.
Another cyclist heard the casualty and was able to alert the emergency services to their location.
Police, ambulance crews and the air ambulance also attended.
Firefighters used a long board and triple extension ladders to lift the cyclist back up the embankment.
The casualty was then left in the care of paramedics and taken to hospital by road ambulance.
