Firefighters helped rescue a person who suffered a broken ankle after falling into a beck in Romanby.
A crew from Stokesley was called to Chantry Road at 5.49pm yesterday following reports that a person had fallen into the water.
Working alongside the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, firefighters helped remove the casualty from a ditch before they were taken to hospital for treatment.
