A car left the road and came to rest in a field near Bedale this afternoon.
Fire crews from Bedale and Harrogate were called to Scroggs Lane, Snape, at 3.41pm following reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision.
When firefighters arrived, the driver had already got out of the vehicle and was being treated by paramedics.
Crews disconnected the vehicle’s battery and monitored its temperature to ensure there was no risk of fire before leaving the scene.
No further details about the driver’s condition have been released.
