Firefighters were called to Stokesley in the early hours of the morning to assist a person who became stranded on the roof of a property.
The incident happened at about 5.16am when Northallerton’s fire engine was mobilised after reports that a person was stuck on a roof following an attempt to gain entry to the building.
Crews used a triple extension ladder to safely bring the individual back to ground level.
The person was released uninjured and did not require medical treatment.
Firefighters also provided safety advice before leaving the scene.
