Police are appealing for information after an e-bike rider failed to stop for officers in Northallerton.
The incident happened at around 1.40pm on Saturday, April 11 on Brompton Road, when the rider reportedly mounted the pavement and travelled at speed across the leisure centre playing fields before heading back towards Brompton.
The suspect is described as wearing a large black coat and a black balaclava covering their face.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area at the time.
