Police have issued an appeal for information following an incident of vandalism in Leeming Village.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police are investigating damage caused to a bench at the playing field.
The vandalism was discovered recently, but the exact time and date of the incident remain unknown.
Police are now asking for the public’s help to identify those responsible.
Residents are being urged to come forward if they saw or heard anything suspicious in the area, or if they have CCTV footage covering the playing field or nearby streets.
Drivers who may have dash-cam footage from the area are also being asked to check their recordings.
