A thriving girls’ football team in Northallerton Town FC is on the lookout for new players as they prepare for the upcoming season.
The current under-13 squad, made up of school years 7 and 8, will move up to under-14 level from September (years 8 and 9), and coaches are keen to strengthen the team in all areas.
Based in Northallerton, the team trains weekly and competes in the City of York Girls League.
Training sessions take place on Thursdays, running from 6pm to 7.30pm during the summer and 6pm to 7pm in the winter months. Matches are played on Saturdays.
The squad is supported by four experienced coaches and has built a strong team spirit, with players coming from a range of areas and forming a close-knit, friendly group.
Off the pitch, the club also organises social events for players and families, helping to create a supportive community environment. Shared lifts can also be arranged where needed.
The team has enjoyed recent success and is climbing steadily up the league table, backed by strong support from the wider club and its sponsors.
