Fire crews were called to assist people trapped inside an electric vehicle in Northallerton on Wednesday evening.
A crew from Northallerton attended an incident on Lewis Road at 5.28pm following reports that occupants were unable to exit their vehicle after an electrical fault.
On arrival, firefighters found people locked inside the vehicle due to a failure of the electrics.
Crews were able to resolve the situation by accessing the vehicle’s online owner’s manual, which provided the information needed to release the occupants safely.
All those inside were freed without injury.
