Firefighters were called to a small woodland fire close to a shed in Northallerton.
A crew from Northallerton Fire Station attended the incident at around 3.10pm on Sunday in Darlington Road.
On arrival, firefighters found a small fire burning in woodland near a shed.
The blaze was extinguished using a knapsack sprayer, preventing it from spreading further.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been deliberate and started by youths.
