Police have carried out enforcement action in Bedale and Sowerby as part of ongoing efforts to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in the Hambleton area.
Officers from the Hambleton Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a warrant at an address in Bedale yesterday, resulting in one person being arrested.
An investigation is currently ongoing.
On the same day, police also secured a closure order at an address on Tulip Tree Close in Sowerby, following concerns raised by residents.
The order will remain in place for three months, starting from Wednesday, 18 December , and is aimed at preventing further issues linked to the property.
North Yorkshire Police said the action forms part of their commitment to ensuring communities can enjoy a safe and peaceful festive period.
The operation was supported by partners including the North Yorkshire Community Safety Hub and Together Housing.
