Fire spread from a firepit to the roof of a property yesterday.
Firefighters from Ripon and Northallerton were called to a blaze in Carlton Road, Carlton Miniott, Thirsk, at 6.52pm yesterday.
The fire is believed to have started in a firepit before spreading to a cooler unit outside the property and then up to the roof.
Crews used a hose reel jet, hooligan tool, triple extension ladder and thermal imaging camera to bring the incident under control.
The cooler unit suffered 100 per cent fire damage, while there was only slight fire damage to the roof.
