Prime Minister thanks North Yorkshire Police for Covid-19 work

The Prime Minister and Home Secretary visited North Yorkshire Police on Thursday to thank them for their work during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Boris Johnson and Priti Patel called in at the force’s Northallerton headquarters during a trip to the region.

During the visit they spoke to officers including new recruits and special constables.

They also watched a demonstration by the force’s dog team and drone operators.
